Pair #129 - May 9, 2006 Every year I knit at least one pair of really warm, really bulky footies to wear over other socks, as warm "slippers" to wear around the house during cold weather. This pair has been wonderful! Shown worn on top of Pair 128, as I wear them at home. These were knit again using my First-Time Toe-Up Socks pattern with an 8-round rolled cuff. Yarn - Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Bulky (85% wool/ 15% mohair). Warm, inexpensive, great colors. And it lasts a really long time even when you wear it without shoes! |
